NRB announces today’s foreign exchange rates



KATHMANDU: Nepal Rastra Bank has published the foreign exchange rates for today. As per the central bank, the buying rate of one US dollar is NPR 140.76, while the selling rate is NPR 141.36.

The euro is being bought at NPR 163.72 and sold at NPR 164.42. One British pound sterling is being bought at NPR 188.33 and sold at NPR 189.13. The Swiss franc is being bought at NPR 174.85 and sold at NPR 175.59.

Similarly, the Australian dollar is trading at a buying rate of NPR 91.57 and a selling rate of NPR 91.96. The Canadian dollar stands at NPR 102.05 for buying and NPR 102.48 for selling. The Singapore dollar is being bought at NPR 109.22 and sold at NPR 109.68.

For 10 Japanese yen, the buying rate is NPR 9.47 and the selling rate is NPR 9.51. The Chinese yuan is being bought at NPR 19.70 and sold at NPR 19.79.

The Saudi Arabian riyal has a buying rate of NPR 37.51 and a selling rate of NPR 37.67. Similarly, the Qatari riyal is being bought at NPR 38.62 and sold at NPR 38.78.

According to the central bank, the Thai baht is trading at NPR 4.34 (buying) and NPR 4.36 (selling), while the UAE dirham is being bought at NPR 38.32 and sold at NPR 38.49. The Malaysian ringgit is priced at NPR 33.28 for buying and NPR 33.42 for selling.

The South Korean won (per 100 units) is trading at NPR 10.08 for buying and NPR 10.13 for selling. The Swedish kronor is being bought at NPR 14.89 and sold at NPR 14.95, while the Danish krone is priced at NPR 21.94 for buying and NPR 22.03 for selling.

Additionally, the Hong Kong dollar has a buying rate of NPR 18.03 and a selling rate of NPR 18.11. The Kuwaiti dinar is trading at NPR 460.08 (buying) and NPR 462.04 (selling). The Bahraini dinar stands at NPR 373.37 for buying and NPR 374.97 for selling. The Omani rial is being bought at NPR 365.62 and sold at NPR 367.18.

Meanwhile, the exchange rate for 100 Indian rupees is set at NPR 160.00 for buying and NPR 160.15 for selling.

Nepal Rastra Bank has noted that these rates are subject to revision at any time, based on market conditions. Commercial banks may offer slightly different rates, and the latest updates are available on the central bank’s official website.
