Tension erupts between transport operators and police at Jadibuti bus park



KATHMANDU: Tension flared at the Arniko bus park in Jadibuti after police intervened when transport operators attempted to stop public buses from carrying passengers during an ongoing protest shutdown.

Transport operators reportedly intercepted buses that were operating despite the shutdown, forcing passengers to disembark.

In response, police intervened and took some of the transport operators into custody, leading to a standoff between the two sides.

The situation created an atmosphere of heightened tension at the bus park.
