Former CJ Kalyan Shrestha’s father passes away



KATHMANDU: Former Chief Justice (CJ) Kalyan Shrestha’s father has passed away.

His 95-year-old father, Kul Bahadur Shrestha, died this morning at Norvic Hospital in Thapathali, Kathmandu. He had been taken to the hospital after suffering a heart attack, and doctors pronounced him dead at 11:30 a.m.

His final rites will be performed at Pashupati Aryaghat this afternoon.
