PM Karki meets with families of martyrs



KATHMANDU: Prime Minister Sushila Karki met with the families of martyrs of the Gen-Z movement on the occasion of Bijaya Dashami.

PM Karki reached Banasthali in Kathmandu and met with the family of martyr Sauran Kishor Shrestha. Originally from Baglung, the Shrestha family has been currently residing in Banasthali.

The Prime Minister reached Nagarjun-3 to meet the family of martyr Kanchhi Nagarkoti. She also visited Maitrinagar in Kirtipur to meet the family of martyr Buddhi Bahadur Tamang.

Along with Prime Minister Karki, Minister for Communication and Information Technology Jagadish Kharel also went to meet the families of martyrs.

After meeting the families of the martyrs, Minister Kharel spoke to the media, saying, “The Prime Minister also did not offer and receive the ‘tika’ on Bijaya Dashami, and I did not either.

Meetings and discussions were held with the families of the deceased and martyrs of the Gen-Z movement. The desire of the martyrs’ families was that the blood of the martyrs should be given justice.”
