Panchkhal Municipality introduces free blood for residents



KAVREPALANCHOWK: Panchkhal Municipality has introduced a new initiative to provide free blood to its residents.

The municipality has signed an agreement with the Nepal Red Cross Society to ensure that no one in the area loses their life due to a shortage of blood during medical treatment.

Mayor Mahesh Kharel stated, “We have entered into this agreement with the Nepal Red Cross Society to make blood more accessible and to save lives.”

Under the agreement, the municipality will pay Rs 1,050 per unit to the Red Cross for the provision of blood, making it freely available to residents in need.
