Pro-monarchy group to hold rally at Sifal Ground tomorrow

KATHMANDU: The Samyukta Jana Andolan Samiti, led by Nawaraj Subedi, has announced a protest at Sifal Ground in Kathmandu on Tuesday, demanding the reinstatement of the monarchy and Nepal’s status as a Hindu nation.

According to a statement issued Monday evening, the demonstration will begin at 2 PM. The protest is part of an ongoing movement that began on May 29, although the agitation was temporarily suspended on Monday.

Earlier, the Kathmandu District Administration Office had prohibited protest activities in several areas, including Sifal, Balkhu, and Koteshwar. However, the organizing committee has decided to proceed with the rally at Sifal despite the restriction.
