Grade 12 exams to be held as scheduled: NEB

KATHMANDU: The National Examination Board (NEB) has confirmed that the Secondary Education Examination (Grade 12) will be conducted as per the revised schedule, from May 4 to May 16.

The Board issued a statement clarifying that the exams will proceed without further delay, following an agreement reached with the Nepal Teachers Federation, whose earlier protest had prompted a postponement.

The NEB also raised concerns over the unauthorized use of its logo and the spread of misinformation on various social media platforms.

It urged students, parents, and stakeholders not to be misled by unofficial sources and clarified that it does not operate a Facebook page. All official information, the board emphasized, will be disseminated exclusively through its website.

The Board has called upon exam center heads, teachers, staff, security personnel, parents, media, and all other stakeholders to ensure the remaining preparations are completed and the exams are conducted on the scheduled dates in an orderly and dignified manner.
