Speaking at the convocation ceremony of the National Service Corps on Sunday, Prime Minister Oli called on people to recognize the importance of having youth who are both disciplined and dedicated, as they are crucial to the progress of any nation.

He assured that the government remains committed to the overall development of youth.

“The National Service Corps was established with the goal of preparing morally strong, capable, and patriotic youth to support the nation’s needs. When the nation called, you responded with selfless dedication and took on significant leadership roles as true Nepali citizens,” Oli said.

“In the current context, disciplined and dedicated youth are essential for every nation, which is why I consider this program to be of utmost importance, and I urge everyone to recognize its value.”

Prime Minister Oli further explained that the primary objective of the program is to train volunteers who can be mobilized during disasters, especially in a disaster-prone country like Nepal.
