KATHMANDU: The weather today will be partly cloudy in the hilly areas of Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki Provinces, while the rest of the country will experience clear skies.
This weather pattern is attributed to the general influence of westerly winds, according to the weather forecast issued by the Weather Forecasting Division under the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology.
The bulletin also indicates that fog and mist are expected to persist in many parts of the Tarai.
Later in the afternoon, the weather will become partly cloudy in the hilly areas of Koshi Province, with mostly clear conditions across the remaining provinces.
Meanwhile, the department has advised the public to take necessary precautions, as fog and mist may affect various regions of the Tarai and the Valley in the next 24 hours.
This could disrupt daily life, agriculture, health, as well as road and air transport.
