Suryadarshan Cooperative fraud case: Complainants’ testimony continues, set to continue on Friday

POKHARA: The testimony of the complainants in the Suryadarshan Cooperative fraud case, which began on Thursday, has concluded for the day.

There was a closed argument in this case until Wednesday. As the closed argument ended, the complainants’ argument began on Thursday.

Since the argument could not be completed in one day on Thursday, it will continue on Friday as well.

On Thursday, senior advocates Dinesh Tripathi, Dr. Surendra Bhandari, along with advocates Bed Bahadur Bista, Ramchandra Gautam, Yubaraj Parajuli and Hari Kattel argued on behalf of the complainants.

According to the District Court Kaski, the case involving Rastriya Swatantra Party Chair Rabi Lamichhane is being debated in the bench of Judge Nitij Rai.

On Wednesday, the arguments were made by Attorney Kamala Kafle, Assistant Attorney Shanti Devi Sharma, Bipin Raj Tiwari, Deputy Attorney Prakash Gautam, Deputy Attorney General Sanjiv Raj Regmi, and Assistant Attorney Sujata Poudel on behalf of the government attorney.

After the arguments of the attorneys of the government attorney’s office, the arguments on behalf of the complainants are being held from Thursday, informed the Kaski court’s registrar Rajan Khanal.

According to the him , once the complainant’s arguments are concluded today, the defense will present their case.

Following that, counter-arguments will be made by the attorneys from the High Government Attorney’s Office.
