Kyrgyzstan, Lebanon and Myanmar to compete in women’s football tournament in Nepal this February

KATHMANDU: Nepal is set to host a four-nation international women’s football tournament from February 17 to 26 at the Dasharath Stadium, according to an announcement made by the All Nepal Football Association (ANFA) on Wednesday.

The tournament will feature the women’s football teams of Kyrgyzstan, Lebanon, and Myanmar. The event will be held during FIFA’s international window.

The Nepali women’s football team last played against Bangladesh in the final of the SAFF Women’s Championship at the Dasharath Stadium in November.

Additionally, the second round of the Nepali Women’s National League football matches is set to begin today.
