Total lunar eclipse to be visible on night of September 7



KATHMANDU: A total lunar eclipse will be visible from Kathmandu on the full moon night of Bhadra, falling on Sunday, September 7.

According to the Nepal Calendar Fixing Committee, the eclipse will begin at 10:11 pm on September 7 and continue for about three and a half hours, ending at 1:04 am on September 8.

This will be the first lunar eclipse of the year 2025 in Nepal. Lunar eclipses occur only on full moon nights.
