PM Oli to address SCO summit today



TIANJIN: Prime Minister (PM) KP Sharma Oli is scheduled to address the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) Plus Summit today in Tianjin, China. The 2025 SCO Summit began on Sunday at the Tianjin Meijiang Convention Centre.

PM Oli and other heads of state and government are scheduled to speak during today’s session. The prime minister is currently on a five-day official visit to China at the invitation of Chinese President Xi Jinping.

On the sidelines of the summit, PM Oli is also set to hold bilateral meetings with several leaders, including Russian President Vladimir Putin, Maldivian President Dr Mohamed Muizzu, and Lao Prime Minister Dr Sonexay Siphandone.
