Chandraman Singh Marg in Kathmandu submerged after brief rainfall

KATHMANDU: Chandraman Singh Marg, located in Thahiti, Bangemudha of Ward 25 under the Kathmandu Metropolitan City, was submerged in water after a brief spell of rain on Tuesday.

Despite drainage management work being completed just a year ago, the road flooded due to blocked drainage caused by the rain.

Local residents and pedestrians faced considerable difficulty navigating the waterlogged street. The flooding is attributed to poor drainage management and a lack of proper water outflow system.
