NRB releases today’s foreign currency exchange rates



KATHMANDU: Nepal Rastra Bank has announced the foreign currency exchange rates for today. According to the central bank, the buying rate of one US dollar has been set at Rs. 136.92, while the selling rate stands at Rs. 137.52.

The buying rate for one European euro is Rs. 160.59, and the selling rate is Rs. 161.29. Likewise, one UK pound sterling is being bought at Rs. 187.72 and sold at Rs. 188.55. The Swiss franc is being bought at Rs. 171.84 and sold at Rs. 172.59.

The buying rate of one Australian dollar is Rs. 89.46 and the selling rate is Rs. 89.86. Similarly, the Canadian dollar is being bought at Rs. 100.15 and sold at Rs. 100.59, while the Singapore dollar is being bought at Rs. 107.46 and sold at Rs. 107.93.

The buying rate for 10 Japanese yen is Rs. 9.49 and the selling rate is Rs. 9.53. The Chinese yuan is being bought at Rs. 19.11 and sold at Rs. 19.19.

Similarly, the Saudi Arabian riyal has a buying rate of Rs. 36.51 and a selling rate of Rs. 36.67, while the Qatari riyal is being bought at Rs. 37.57 and sold at Rs. 37.73.

According to the central bank, the buying rate of one Thai baht is Rs. 4.21 and the selling rate is Rs. 4.23. The UAE dirham is being bought at Rs. 37.28 and sold at Rs. 37.44, and the Malaysian ringgit is being bought at Rs. 32.51 and sold at Rs. 32.65.

The buying rate for 100 South Korean won is Rs. 10.10 and the selling rate is Rs. 10.14. The exchange rate for the Hong Kong dollar has been set at Rs. 17.44 for buying and Rs. 17.52 for selling.

Likewise, the Kuwaiti dinar is being bought at Rs. 447.85 and sold at Rs. 449.81. The buying rate for the Bahraini dinar is Rs. 362.92, while the Omani rial is being bought at Rs. 355.62 and sold at Rs. 357.18.

The buying rate for 100 Indian rupees has been fixed at Rs. 160.00 and the selling rate at Rs. 160.15. Nepal Rastra Bank has stated that these rates are subject to revision as needed, and commercial banks may offer slightly different rates.
