Woman dies in motorcycle accident in Chandragiri



KATHMANDU: A woman has died in a motorcycle accident in Chandragiri Municipality-4, Panighat, last night.

According to the Kathmandu Police Range, 36-year-old Sunita Balami of Kakani Rural Municipality-1, Nuwakot, was riding on a motorcycle that was heading to Kathmandu from Chitlang, Makawanpur, when it met with an accident at around 7:45 p.m.

She sustained serious injuries and died while undergoing treatment at the APF Hospital in Balambu.

The motorcycle driver, Man Bahadur Balami of Kakani, was also injured in the crash and is currently receiving treatment at the same hospital.
