Today’s foreign currency exchange rates



KATHMANDU: Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has set the exchange rates for foreign currencies for today (Tuesday).

The US dollar remains stable for the third consecutive day, with a buying rate of NPR 136.46 and a selling rate of NPR 137.06. The highest recorded exchange rate for the US dollar in Nepal was on Magh 25, when it reached NPR 140.43.

The British pound and the Kuwaiti and Bahraini dinars have appreciated, while the euro and the Australian dollar have depreciated.

The buying rate of the Euro today stands at NPR 147.63, with a selling rate of NPR 148.28, reflecting a slight decrease from yesterday.

Meanwhile, the British pound is trading at NPR 176.63 (buying) and NPR 177.40 (selling), showing a minor increase.

The Australian dollar has weakened, with a buying rate of NPR 85.30 and a selling rate of NPR 85.68, lower than the previous day’s exchange.

On the other hand, the Kuwaiti dinar has increased slightly to NPR 442.69 (buying) and NPR 444.68 (selling). Similarly, the Bahraini dinar has risen to NPR 361.99 (buying) and NPR 363.58 (selling).

Exchange rates fluctuate daily based on global market trends, affecting trade, travel, and remittances.
