Body of missing woman found in Sankhuwasabha

SANKHUWASABHA: A woman’s body was discovered this morning in Piple, Khandbari Municipality-8, Sankhuwasabha.

The body of 30-year-old Yama Kumari Dhakal Pokharel was found around 5 am in Adarsh Tole, approximately 500 meters from her home.

Pokharel, who had been missing since 8 pm on Friday, was reported missing by her family. According to Daksha Kumar Basnet, Deputy Superintendent of Police at the District Police Office, Sankhuwasabha, investigations are ongoing.

The police have confirmed that Pokharel is survived by her husband, son, and daughter.

Her body has been sent to Khandbari District Hospital for an autopsy as part of the investigation process.

The cause of her death remains under investigation. Authorities are working to determine the circumstances surrounding her death.
