Bhim Rawal calls for national unity to overcome crisis

LAMJUNG: Coordinator of the Land Awareness Campaign Nepal and former Deputy Prime Minister Dr Bhim Rawal has urged self-respecting Nepalis to unite for the sake of the nation and its sovereignty.

Speaking at a press conference held today in Besisahar, Lamjung, Rawal stressed the urgent need for national unity to address the current political and economic crisis the country is facing.

“The time has come for all of us to come together for the country and its people, setting aside party or personal interests,” said Rawal.

He attributed the ongoing crisis to the failure of political parties, particularly the two major parties, UML and Congress, to work in accordance with the constitution and steer the country in the right direction.

He stressed that cooperation from all sectors of society is crucial in overcoming the crisis, adding, “The political parties have not fulfilled their responsibilities, and it is now time for every citizen to contribute toward solving the nation’s problems.”

Rawal also expressed his frustration at facing criticism within his own party for prioritizing national interest and the welfare of the people over party politics.
