Four federal parliament committees convening today



KATHMANDU: Four committees of the Federal Parliament convene today at Singha Durbar to address pressing issues and advance legislative discussions.

The Infrastructure Development Committee will meet at 11 am, focusing on complaints received by the committee. Similarly, the Agriculture, Cooperatives, and Natural Resources Committee is set to meet at the same time to discuss issues surrounding unorganized settlements on land.

The Federalism Enablement and National Concerns Committee will also hold its meeting at 11 am. The agenda includes reviewing the implementation status of directives issued to the ministry on August 27, 2024.

Later in the day, at 2:15 pm, the Public Policy and Delegated Legislation Committee will meet. This session aims to hold discussions with officials from the Ministry of Education, Science, and Technology. The Minister of Education, Science, and Technology has also been invited to participate.
