Nepal Oil Corporation increases petrol and diesel prices



KATHMANDU: Nepal Oil Corporation (NOC) has announced a hike in the prices of petrol and diesel.

The price of petrol has been increased by Rs 2 per liter, while diesel has gone up by Rs 1 per liter.

Following the adjustment, petrol will cost Rs 163 per liter in Kathmandu, Pokhara, and Dipayal, while in Dang and Surkhet, the price has been set at Rs 162 per liter.

Diesel will now be priced at Rs 153 per liter in Kathmandu and Dipayal, Rs 152 in Surkhet and Dang, and Rs 150 and 50 paisa in other areas.

In contrast, the corporation has reduced the price of aviation fuel.

The cost for aviation fuel for domestic airlines has been decreased by Rs 2 per liter, while for international airlines, it has been reduced by Rs 15 per liter.
