KATHMANDU: Nepalgunj recorded a maximum temperature of 44.2 degrees Celsius on Thursday, the highest of this year so far, according to Govinda Jha of the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology.
Similarly, Dhangadhi recorded a maximum temperature of 44.1 degrees Celsius on the same day.
Other significant temperatures recorded include Biratnagar at 41 degrees Celsius, Pokhara at 34 degrees Celsius, and Kathmandu at 34.4 degrees Celsius.
Last month, Bhairahawa recorded a maximum temperature of 43.6 degrees Celsius.
