No vote of confidence for Bagmati Chief Minister as it is: Unified Socialist Party

HETAUDA: The ruling CPN-Unified Socialist party has indicated that it cannot provide a vote of confidence to the Bagmati government under the current circumstances.

Bagmati Chief Minister Shalikram Jamkattel has prepared to seek a vote of confidence from the provincial assembly on Monday.

Jamkattel, a leader of the CPN-Maoist Center, serves as the Chief Minister in Bagmati.

There are seven Unified Socialist Party members in the Bagmati Province Assembly.

Furthermore, during a meeting of the Nepali Congress (NC) parliamentary party, it was decided on Sunday to instruct parliamentarians to vote against the proposal for the vote of confidence that Chief Minister Jamkattel intends to put forward.
