The decision was made during a meeting of the Constitutional Council held earlier today, marking a crucial step towards filling the vital role.

Currently serving as the Secretary at National Statistics, Raya is poised to be appointed to the position by President Ram Chandra Poudel after undergoing a parliamentary hearing.
