NOC increases price of petroleum products

The Nepal Oil Corporation (NOC) has increased the price of petroleum products. The new market price of petrol, diesel and LP gas or cooking gas will come into effect from 1:00 am tomorrow. Accordingly, the price of petrol has been increased by Rs 4, diesel-kerosene by Rs 2 and LP gas by Rs 15.

ICC U-19 World Cup Cricket: Nepal defeated by Bangladesh

NA proposes reviving Hetauda Textile Industry with an estimated cost of 1.93 billion

In a disconcerting revelation, Kathmandu has secured the unenviable seventh spot on the list of the world’s most polluted cities. The air quality in Nepal’s capital has hit alarming levels, with PM2.5 levels surging to 171 micrograms per cubic meter (μg/m3) at 9:30 am, according to data from IQ AirVisual.

Helambu jeep accident claims lives of two Bhutanese citizens, helicopter rescues injured

A jeep accident in Ward No. 1 of Helambu Rural Municipality, Sindhupalchowk, has resulted in the unfortunate death of two Bhutanese citizens. On Wednesday morning around 11 am, the Ba 2 Cha 4450 jeep, carrying five Bhutanese citizens and one Nepali (the driver), veered off the road and plummeted 50 meters. The accident claimed the lives of two Bhutanese nationals on board.
