Partly cloudy weather predicted today

KATHMANDU: Westerly winds are currently prevailing across the country, with local air conditions having a partial impact on the hilly terrain.

As of Wednesday morning, the weather in the hilly areas is partly cloudy.

According to the Weather Forecast Division, the rest of the country is primarily experiencing clear skies.

This afternoon, the hilly regions of Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki are expected to be partly to mostly cloudy.

Meanwhile, the remainder of the country should see partly cloudy to mainly clear conditions.

There is a possibility of light to moderate rain, accompanied by thunder and lightning, in some areas of the hilly regions of Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki, as well as isolated spots in other provinces, according to the Division.

Tonight, the hilly areas of the Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki regions will likely remain partly to mostly cloudy, while the rest of the country is expected to continue with partly cloudy to mainly clear weather.

The bulletin issued by the Division on Wednesday has indicated a chance of light rain, with thunder and lightning, in select areas of the hilly regions of Bagmati, Gandaki, and Koshi provinces.
