Madhav Nepal will not walk out of the coalition: PM Dahal

BIRATNAGAR: Prime Minister (PM) and Chairman of the Maoist Center Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ has affirmed that Unified Socialist Chairman Madhav Kumar Nepal will remain a key figure in the current ruling coalition.

During his visit to Biratnagar this morning, Prime Minister Dahal assured journalists that, based on recent discussions, Nepal’s involvement in the political landscape is not diminishing.

“He appeared to be aligning with both sides for a while. However, in our recent conversation, Madhav Nepal made it clear that he’s integral to the coalition and will remain so,” Prime Minister Dahal stated.

Additionally, PM Dahal asserted that the coalition in the Madhes province will remain intact, with no efforts to disrupt it.

He emphasized that there won’t be an alternative government in Madhes that operates outside of this established coalition.
