T20 World Cup preparation: Nepal facing America today



KATHMANDU: Nepal is competing against America in the second practice match before the T20 World Cup.

The match between Nepal and USA will be held at 9:15 PM at the Grand Prairie Stadium in Dallas, USA.

Nepal, which lost to Canada by 63 runs in the first practice match, will aim to secure a victory against America.

In the last 5 matches between USA and Nepal, Nepal has lost four matches.

The match against America, which is also the host of the World Cup, is seen as highly significant.

Earlier on Monday night, Nepal won the toss and invited Canada to bat at the US Dallas ground.

Chasing the target of 184 runs set by Canada, Nepal was all out after scoring 120 runs in 19.3 overs.

For Nepal, Kushal Malla scored 37 runs from 30 balls with two fours and two sixes, while Anil Shah scored 24 runs from 16 balls, and Asif Sheikh scored 22 runs.

Kushal Bhurtel managed 10 runs from 16 balls, while the other batsmen failed to reach double figures.

In the match against Canada, Abhinash Bohara took 2 wickets for Nepal, while Karan KC, Sompal Kami, Gulsan Jha, and Sagar Dhakal each took one wicket.
