Karnali CM Kandel expands cabinet



KATHMANDU: Chief Minister (CM) Yam Lal Kandel of Karnali Province announced the expansion of his Cabinet on Tuesday.

CM Kandel, in a move to strengthen governance and administration, appointed Sher Bahadur Buda and Binod Kumar Shah from CPN-UML as the Minister for Physical Infrastructure and Urban Development and Minister for Land Management, Agriculture, and Cooperatives, respectively.

Additionally, Gautam BK has been appointed as the State Minister for Physical Infrastructure and Urban Development.

From CPN (Maoist Center), CM Kandel has named Mahendra KC as the Minister for Economic Affairs and Planning, Rana Singh Pariyar as the Minister for Energy and Water Resources, Bir Bahadur Shahi as the Social Development Minister, and Durga Rawat as the Minister for Industry, Tourism, Forest, and Environment.
