Floor crossing in Koshi during NA elections raises serious concerns for ruling coalition



KATHMANDU: The ruling coalition has carefully assessed the matter of floor crossing that took place during the National Assembly member elections in Koshi province.

In a meeting convened on Tuesday at the Prime Minister’s official residence in Baluwatar, the ruling coalition initiated discussions on the National Assembly election results, giving special attention to the significant occurrence of floor crossing in Koshi.

Following the meeting, Ramesh Lekhak, the Chief Whip of Nepali Congress, conveyed that the coalition thoroughly reviewed the results of the NA election and expressed serious concerns about losing one seat in Koshi province.

In addition to the election results, the meeting delved into various issues, including the selection of the National Assembly chair, future political agendas, and other relevant matters, Lekhak added.
