Earthquake jolts Kalikot again



KALIKOT: An earthquake struck Kalikot today (Sunday), marking the second tremor in the area within a few days.

According to the National Seismological and Research Center, a 3.6-magnitude earthquake hit Kalikot at 5:09 AM this morning, with its epicenter located in Odanaku.

Earlier, on Friday night, a 3.7-magnitude earthquake had also struck Kalikot.

The NSRC reported that the tremor occurred at 11:37 PM, with its epicenter near Lali.

Since the start of the Nepali month of Poush, a total of eight earthquakes have been recorded across six districts in western Nepal.
