KATHMANDU: Prime Minister (PM) KP Oli has accused certain factions of attempting to divide the Nepali populace and incite chaos and communal hatred under various pretexts.
Speaking during the convocation ceremony of the Armed Police Force, held today in Kathmandu, Prime Minister Oli stated that lawless activities will not be tolerated.
“We will not allow chaotic and illegal activities to succeed,” he asserted.
He congratulated the police officers for their readiness to participate in the country’s peacekeeping operations during natural disasters and other emergencies.
PM Oli also announced that necessary amendments to the law are being prepared to enhance the effectiveness of the armed police force and improve their facilities.
The Prime Minister praised the role of the armed police in securing border areas and urged them to elevate their capabilities and performance.
Forty-five trainees successfully completed their training and are now ready to enter the field.
