KATHMANDU: The weather is expected to be partly to mostly cloudy nationwide, with rain expected in some areas of Koshi, Madhes, Bagmati, Gandaki, and Lumbini provinces today.
The Weather Forecast Division of the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology has indicated that light to moderate rain, along with thunderstorms, may occur in other provinces as well.
The Tarai regions of Koshi, Lumbini, and Madhes are particularly likely to experience thunderstorms.
Meteorologist Rojan Lamichhane noted that tonight will see generally cloudy to overcast conditions in Koshi, Madhes, and Bagmati, while other provinces will be partly to mostly cloudy.
The weather is expected to remain similar on Monday, with light to moderate rain possible from morning until afternoon, tapering off later in the evening.
