KATHMANDU: Pushpa Kamal Dahal, ‘Prachanda’ Chairman of the CPN (Maoist Center), has urged the ruling alliance of CPN-UML and Nepali Congress (NC) to avoid displaying arrogance due to their two-thirds majority.

Speaking to the media after a party event in Dhangadi, Dahal criticized the early performance of the new government as unsatisfactory.

“I have cautioned them to refrain from showing arrogance because of their two-thirds majority,” Dahal said, adding that he would consider street protests if the attitude persists.

Dahal also emphasized that he would continue the anti-corruption campaign initiated under his leadership.

Additionally, he characterized the new coalition between the two largest parties in Parliament as an outcome of fear.
