NEPSE index ends lower by 20.46 points, achieves fourth highest turnover of Rs. 19.6 billion



KATHMANDU: The NEPSE Index closed today at 2,661.09 points, down by 20.46 points, or 0.76 percent, from the previous day’s close.

This decline follows a previous session where the index had risen by 113.42 points.

The trading day began with the index at 2,706.73 points and saw fluctuations throughout the day, reaching a peak of 2,737.68 points and dipping to a low of 2,655.15 points before settling at its closing figure.

During today’s trading, 325 stocks were exchanged in 222,660 transactions, totaling 47,790,837 shares.

This resulted in a notable turnover of Rs. 19.6 billion, making it the fourth highest turnover in NEPSE’s history.
