School bus with 24 students overturns in Pokhara



POKHARA: A school bus carrying students from LP Devkota Memorial School overturned in Pokhara this morning (Monday).

The incident occurred in Pokhara 17, Fusrekhola, as the bus was returning from a school trip.

According to Baidam Police Chief DSP Rajendra Kumar Shrestha, the bus had 24 occupants, including the driver and co-driver.

Police and local residents are currently involved in the rescue efforts, and the injured have been transported to the hospital.

Further details about the incident are still emerging. Some passengers have sustained serious injuries.
