Vietnam’s non-resident ambassador calls on Vice President



KATHMANDU: Non-resident ambassador of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, Nguyen Thanh Hai today paid a courtesy call on Vice President Ramsahay Prasad Yadav.

During the meeting held at the Office of the Vice President in Green House, Lainchaur, the two exchanged views on matters relating to bilateral relations, investment opportunities and the tourism industry.

On the occasion, the Vice President said the participation of Vietnam in the Third Nepal Investment Summit (April 28-29) held in Kathmandu will help bring in investment from Vietnam, according to the Office of the Vice President.

The ambassador pledged to make maximum efforts to further strengthen the bilateral ties in the days ahead.

As he said, efforts are in progress to connect Nepal and Vietnam by direct air flight.
