KATHMANDU: The Weather Forecasting Division has predicted a mix of rain and storm activity across the country.

According to the Division, there’s a chance of light rain accompanied by thunder or lightning in isolated areas of the Koshi, Gandaki, Karnali, and Sudurpaschim provinces.

Additionally, light snowfall is possible at higher elevations in these provinces.

Furthermore, this afternoon, windstorms are likely in parts of Lumbini, Madhes, and Koshi provinces, with scattered occurrences expected in other areas.

As night falls, the Division has anticipated light rain with thunder in the hilly terrains of Koshi, Gandaki, and Karnali.

Moreover, there’s a chance of light snowfall in the higher hills and Himalayan regions of these provinces.

Lumbini and Koshi regions may also experience stormy conditions, along with a few other locations, as highlighted by the Division.
