Bajhang vote count: UML’s Bhandari maintains lead



BAJHANG: The tallying of votes for the Bajhang Province 1 by-election is currently underway.

Thus far, the count has been finalized in Chhabispathibhara, Khaptadchanna Rural Municipality, Thalara, and Jaya Prithvi-1.

The latest electoral updates indicate a sustained lead for CPN-UML, albeit with a diminishing vote margin for the Nepali Congress.

UML’s candidate, Daman Bhandari, maintains his lead with 4,668 votes.

In parallel, Abishek Singh of the Nepali Congress secures the second position with 4,580 votes, followed by Maoist Center candidate Janak Budha in third with 2,443 votes, and Dil Bahadur Singh of the Unified Socialist Party in fourth with 1,658 votes.

RPP has collected 126 votes.
