Gold price up by Rs 200 per tola today

Gold price increased by Rs 200 per tola in the Nepali market today. According to the Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, the price of fine gold has been fixed at Rs 118,400 per tola and standard gold is traded at Rs 117,850 per tola. The precious yellow metal was traded at Rs. 118,300 per tola, and standard gold at Rs. 117,750 per tola on Wednesday.

60-year-old man arrested for allegedly raping a 14-year-old girl

A 60-year-old man has been arrested for allegedly raping a 14-year-old girl in Kailali. Asharam Chaudhary, who lives in Tikapur municipality-1, has been arrested on the charge of raping a girl, according to District Police Office, Kailali. The police arrested him from his home last night. It is alleged that Chaudhary took the girl to the Kailasheshwar community forest near the village and raped her a few days ago.

19 newly-elected NA members to be sworn in on Monday

Nineteen newly-elected candidates to the National Assembly (NA) in the election held on January 25 are set to take their oath on Monday, marking the official commencement of their terms.
