RPP announces Kathmandu-centric movement from March 29

KATHMANDU: The Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) is set to spearhead the Kathmandu-centric mass movement, intensifying their efforts to address the 40-point demands submitted to the government on February 21.

The RPP has decided to conduct public pressure programs across all districts, culminating in a significant public demonstration in the capital.

To prepare for this event, the RPP has organized training sessions for representatives from all districts in the capital on Wednesday.

RPP Chairman Rajendra Lingden and other leaders provided insights into the movement’s policies and its inherent necessity.

In the lead-up to the main event on March 29, the RPP has scheduled a series of preparatory activities.

District-level preparatory meetings and training are slated for March 6, followed by preparatory meetings at the federal and state assembly constituencies on March 11.

Adding momentum to their cause, a motorcycle rally is scheduled for March 23 in Kathmandu.

The climax of the movement will be the massive public movement in Kathmandu on March 29, rallying nationwide support for the 40-point memorandum.

The memorandum has addressed critical issues concerning nationalism, development, good governance, service delivery, and people’s development, aligning with the long-term interests of the country.

The RPP also aims to ignite a nationwide awakening, pressing for the realization of these demands and fostering positive change.
