Kathmandu ranked as 11th most polluted city

KATHMANDU: Air pollution in Kathmandu Valley has worsened today.

As of air quality readings (1 pm), Kathmandu is now ranked the 11th most polluted city in the world.

Swiss air quality monitoring company IQAir has placed Kathmandu in the top eleven of its global pollution index.

Currently, Kathmandu’s air quality index stands at 129, indicating unhealthy levels of pollution.

Lahore of Pakistan, holds the top spot with a pollution level of 477.
