KATHMANDU: A cabinet meeting is taking place today.

Prime Minister (PM) KP Oli has called the meeting for 5 pm this evening at the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers in Singha Durbar.

The meeting is expected to discuss the delegation and agenda for the Prime Minister’s upcoming visit to China.

Although Prime Minister Oli is preparing to depart for China on December 2, a formal decision on the trip has yet to be made.

PM Oli is scheduled to meet with the Chinese President and Prime Minister on December 2.

In addition to the visit to China, today’s cabinet meeting may also address other routine government matters.

The Prime Minister’s Secretariat has confirmed that today’s cabinet meeting is a regular one.
