KATHMANDU: The Parliamentary Hearing Committee of the Federal Parliament has scheduled a meeting to discuss the recommendation for the Chief Election Commissioner (CEC).

General Secretary of the Federal Parliament, Padma Prasad Pandey, stated that the meeting will take place at Singha Durbar at 11:30 a.m. tomorrow.

The primary agenda of the meeting is to decide whether to approve the recommendation of Krishnaman Pradhan for the position of Commissioner.

Pradhan has faced allegations of sexually exploiting women employees by promising them jobs in exchange for sexual favors.

This meeting comes at a crucial time, as debates continue over whether the contentious recommendation should be approved.
