KATHMANDU: The government has reduced the budget for the Ministry of Drinking Water by nearly Rs 2 billion.

In the budget unveiled on Tuesday, Finance Minister Barsa Man Pun announced that the allocation for the ministry is now Rs 26.43 billion, down from the previous Rs 28.16 billion.
