Traffic police personnel won’t be deployed on field during menstruation



KATHMANDU: Women traffic police personnel will not be deployed in the field for four days during their menstruation cycle.

In a social media announcement on Republic Day, Deputy Prime Minister and Home Minister Rabi Lamichhane stated that female traffic personnel will not be required to work in the field during their menstrual period.

According to Home Minister Lamichhane, individuals found violating traffic regulations, including those caught drunk driving, will be deployed on the roads as volunteers during these periods.
