High-level committee established to probe TU answer sheet disappearance

KATHMANDU: In response to the disappearance of Tribhuvan University’s (TU) answer sheets, a high-level committee has been established for investigation.

The committee, led by former Registrar Professor Chandra Mani Poudel, comprises three members and has been tasked with probing the case.

The decision to form the committee was made during a meeting of the University’s executive council today.

TU will await the investigative committee’s report before taking further action.

The missing answer sheets were from examinations in Population and Health in the first year of the Master’s program, as well as the Foundation of Education held in Baishak, 2080 BS.

Re-examinations for these subjects are scheduled for April 3.

The committee has been granted a 30-day timeline to conduct its investigation and submit a comprehensive report.
