Vice-Chancellors of three universities sworn in by PM Oli



KATHMANDU: The newly appointed Vice-Chancellors of Nepal Sanskrit University, Pokhara University, and Agriculture and Forestry University officially assumed their roles today after taking the oath of office and secrecy.

Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli, in his capacity as Chancellor of the universities, administered the oath during a program held at the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers, Singha Durbar.

The appointees include Prof Dr Dhaneshwor Nepal, Vice-Chancellor of Nepal Sanskrit University; Prof Dr Bedraj KC, Vice-Chancellor of Pokhara University; and Prof Dr Sharada Thapaliya, Vice-Chancellor of Agriculture and Forestry University.

Addressing the gathering, Prime Minister Oli extended his best wishes for their successful tenure and encouraged them to contribute significantly to Nepal’s academic and research advancements.

The ceremony was attended by Pro-Chancellor and Minister for Education, Science and Technology Bidya Bhattarai, along with senior government officials and other dignitaries.
