Agriculture and tourism festival in Nawalpur



NAWALPARASI: The Gandaki provincial level festival is going to be held in Nawalpur, Nawalparasi to promote agriculture and tourism with the slogan ‘Agriculture, tourism, industry and trade: foundation of economic development ‘.

The festival will be held on the banks of the Narayani River under the auspices of the Gandaki Province Committee of the Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry, according to the committee chair Amrit Bhattachan.

The festival will be held from November 8 to November 25 and is expected to help make economic activities sustainable and to search for new possibilities.

Around 50 stalls will be provided free of charge for the promotion of agriculture and for the marketing of local products.

There will be 300 display and sales stalls related to handicraft, agriculture, automobiles, information and technology, industrial products, daily consumables, garment etc.
