Maoist Chairman Prachanda to address parliament meeting



KATHMANDU: Pushpa Kamal Dahal Prachanda, Chairman of the main opposition party Center, is addressing today’s House of Representatives meeting, scheduled for 1 pm.

During the special session, Prachanda will share his views on the latest political developments, transitional justice, and other contemporary issues.

Additionally, Secretary of the House of Representatives, Suresh Adhikari, will present a message received from the National Assembly regarding the ‘Investigation, Truth and Reconciliation Commission (Third Amendment) Bill, 2081,’ which originated in the House of Representatives.

The meeting will also feature responses from the concerned ministers to oral questions related to the Ministry of Health and Population, Ministry of Forestry and Environment, and Ministry of Energy, Water Resources, and Irrigation.
